Town Budget, Water Rate Hikes On Agenda This Week

This week the town is holding twelve official meetings that are open to the public. While all deal with matters of importance, some have agenda items that are especially noteworthy:
On Monday, the Town Council will be voting on the budget for the coming fiscal year.
On Tuesday, the Economic Strike committee will be discussing a potential industrial park subdivision at 682 Curtiss Street.
On Wednesday, the Zoning Board of Appeals will consider applications from property owners at 110 Whitman Road and 1517 Mount Vernon Road.
On Thursday, the Board of Water Commissioners will hold a public hearing on a proposed 4.5% water rate increase.
