Leading Ladies of Southington to Host 27th Annual Luncheon
The Leading Ladies of Southington will host its 27th Annual Leading Ladies Luncheon on October 16 at noon at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville. Gentlemen from Southington serve as our celebrity servers and Modern Formals provides their attire complimentary.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Andrea Hurley, devoted mother, community leader, mentor, and wife of UConn men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley. Andrea serves on the board of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and is passionate about supporting children and families throughout Connecticut.
The luncheon will also honor 2026 Leading Lady Terry Gomez Lombardi for her remarkable life of service and dedication to the Southington community. A Cuban immigrant who came to the United States as a child, Terry has devoted countless years to giving back through service on local boards and organizations, including the YMCA, Main Street Foundation, Library, and Board of Education. She has also volunteered with Community Services and Bread for Life and served as an ESL tutor in Southington schools.
The Leading Ladies of Southington empowers, inspires, and uplifts women in the community through mini-grants, scholarships, and programs designed to strengthen connections, confidence, and leadership.
